Hall and the Capital, MCV as it is sometimes more commonly known (at least by the older generation of Richmonders) is one the best treatment and teaching hospitals on the east coast.
For those that are inbound or just exploring as a prospective student or resident, in order to help familiarize yourself with the campus, know that the Medical Campus arguably borders the CBD, Eastern Jackson Ward, Shockoe and Church Hill meaning that a student or resident can be on campus in a VERY short time frame if required from any of these locations. The revitalized industrial sections of Manchester, while across the River, have excellent access to campus via the 14th Street Bridge (Mayo Bridge) and are quite a bit closer than they may appear.
