The Infamous Zone 10
While I could never prove this, I suspect rather strongly that the people that initially defined the zones in CVR MLS thought in a very ‘old school’ manner when they set zone boundaries in the City (and probably lived in the County.) It is evident in that no other zone in MLS tries to handle the diversity of property types, values, ages and styles as does 10. The difference between Church Hill and the Fan, as an example, is as strong as the difference between north and south of the River in much of the buying public’s mind. The fact that the zone is so diverse makes searching a challenge even for the most experienced agents. Understanding the common threads in the housing being sought is key to being able to make MLS provide accurate and relevant search results.
